Fancy riding at Royal Windsor Horse Show next year? Then read on…we’ll tell you how! The AmTrust Equine RWHS Unaffiliated Championships gives British grass-roots riders the chance of a lifetime to compete at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. Thames Valley Riding Club is delighted to be including Round 1 qualifier classes in their forthcoming dressage and show jumping competitions throughout the winter indoor season. The Championship competitions are only open to Riding Club Members (you don't have to be a member to enter any Round 1, but must be before you enter a Round 2 if they've qualified, and horses must be vaccinated before they can do a Round 2) please contact us for more information about joining TVRC if you have qualified in Round 1 and wish to continue to Round 2! The Riding Test used in previous years has now changed to Dressage Prelim 4 at both Round 1 and Round 2 level. There will only be one level from now on (not novice and intermediate levels in Dressage) so it will only be for Juniors and Seniors that don't have more than 60 BD points on their horses. For the Show Jumping, this has been simplified so that for Round 1 level, riders can qualify over a standard show jumping course, either using Table A7 or Two-Phase. Only at Round 2 and beyond will we use a Top Score course. There will be two height levels - Novice and Intermediate. The Novice must have no winnings at all, but the Intermediate can have won no more than £175. The first 5 riders will qualify at Round 1's in both Dressage and Show Jumping. This should mean that more riders will go through to the Area's Round 2. Good luck! |
